Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Portland, OR seeks an Experienced Clerk for Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage compliance. You will administer electronic payroll systems, ensure timely reporting, and support project audits to verify compliance with Davis-Bacon and related acts.

You will review subcontractor submissions, manage apprentice certification processes, and coordinate with site teams to maintain accurate payroll records while upholding federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited program.
• 2 years of certified payroll experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and related regs.
• Strong integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of prevailing wage laws to support projects.
• Monitor subcontractor reporting for compliance with wage laws.
• Review and obtain reporting information from subcontractors.
• Oversee payroll compliance system and audits; ensure timely submissions.
• Verify apprenticeship program compliance and submit certificates.
