Job summary

Datadog is seeking Premier Technical Solutions Engineers to educate potential clients and ensure customers are successful on the Datadog platform. You’ll engage with Premier customers via phone, chat, and tickets to help them optimize their environments.

In a fast-paced, hybrid workplace, you’ll build expertise across Datadog products, mentor teammates, and contribute to documentation, health checks, and customer-facing incident management while collaborating with engineering to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years in multi-channel technical support at a PaaS, IaaS or SaaS company.
• Experience with Linux, programming, and networks.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Premier customer requests (phone / chat / tickets) on our fast paced team while continuing to educate our clients on the use of the Datadog platform.
• Develop relationships with Premier customers, understanding their specific environment.
• Reproduce customer issues and assist customers implementing 1,000+ Datadog integrations.
• Handle urgent escalation requests that may involve customer-facing troubleshooting and incident management.
• Build subject matter expertise in many Datadog product areas.
• Autonomously troubleshoot complex and/or high-priority customer issues without guidance.
• Drive product and engineering conversations based on needs and use cases learned during client interactions.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and act as escalation partner.
• Participate in routine health check meetings with Premier customers.
• Build out and improve documentation and knowledge base articles.
