Job summary

Datadog is seeking a strategic Premier Support Team Lead to oversee a high‑performing group of engineers in a hybrid Denver-based role. You will mentor engineers, drive training, and partner with upper management on performance plans and escalation handling.

As a leader, you’ll shape documentation, run multi-channel support initiatives, and collaborate across teams to resolve critical customer issues while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a 팀 or group of engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Wamiliarity with software development concepts and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, coach and mentor a team of Premier Support Engineers who respond to client requests, reproduce and troubleshoot issues, and dive into the company’s 600+ integrations.
• Act as the owner for your team’s accountability and performance - partnering closely with upper management to facilitate performance reviews, performance plans, and any employee relations issues for your direct reports
• Ensure successful training and onboarding of new hires
• Guide the team through technical-training, certificates and additional learning and development needs
• Build out documentation and knowledge base articles for a variety of technologies
• Drive projects or initiatives to improve team productivity, process or procedure
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers on high-priority escalations and act as a resource to resolve escalations from team members as necessary
