- Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers through strategic outreach, referrals, and pre-planned appointments
- Deepen existing customer relationships through discovery-driven conversations
- Understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
- Serve as the primary financial partner with comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
- Grow and manage a defined book of business across deposits, lending, and investments
- Coordinate warm introductions and integrated solutions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
- Convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
- Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
- Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, elevate issues, and adhere to policies and regulations
- Complete licensing and SAFE registration requirements; transition from the temporary license-pending role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) upon completion
Requirements
- 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
- 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
- Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
- Ability to proactively source, acquire, and deepen customer relationships through outreach and internal partnerships
- Experience managing a book of business, documenting planning conversations, and following through to drive retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments
- Experience coaching or supporting peers
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
- Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
- 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
- State Insurance license(s)
- FINRA Series 65 or equivalent within the specified timeframe for Minnesota and Wisconsin hires
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam for applicable FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
- SAFE registration required at employment
- Ability to meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
- Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
- Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
