Job summary
The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Professional to lead all preconstruction activities on large water projects. You will develop preliminary budgets, value engineering, schedules, and procurement plans while mentoring Preconstruction Specialists.
Key responsibilities include leading estimates, bid package development, subcontractor coordination, and presenting detailed budgets to leadership. Strong communication and depth in water/wastewater projects are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- Bachelor's degree required; 5–8 years in preconstruction/estimate.
- Experience on water/wastewater projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction activities, including budgets, VE, schedules, procurement plans.
- Manage and mentor Preconstruction Specialists.
- Coordinate with design teams and lead value engineering.
- Develop detailed take-offs and estimates, bid packages, and subcontractor bids.
- Present estimates to leadership and clients; manage risks.
