Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee all preconstruction activities for large water projects. You will develop budgets, conduct value engineering, and lead the bidding process with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating with design and other delivery groups, and driving process improvements across the preconstruction phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in accredited construction-related curriculum, such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in construction; or 15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts across multiple projects or large, complex pursuits.
• Develop preliminary budgets, value engineering, preconstruction schedules, procurement plan, and bid packages.
• Oversee subcontractor/supplier bidding, bid evaluation, and presentation of detailed estimates.
• Manage preconstruction team, forecasts, staffing, and resource planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in preconstruction processes and tools.
• Coordinate with design teams and other project delivery groups to ensure consistency.
