Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead and coordinate all preconstruction activities on large water projects. You will develop budgets, lead value engineering, oversee bid packages, and manage subcontractor procurement processes.

Responsibilities include directing a team of Precon Managers, forecasting resources, and ensuring accurate estimates. Strong leadership, communication, and database estimating skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of construction experience or 15 years in the field.
• Water/wastewater construction experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts across multiple projects and large pursuits.
• Develop preliminary budgets and value engineering studies.
• Coordinate bid packages, supplier bidding, and subcontractor prequalification.
• Oversee estimate development, risk assessment, and plan reviews.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and procurement processes.
• Ensure seamless handoff from preconstruction to project teams.
