Job summary

Meta is seeking a construction professional to join our design, engineering, and construction organization as a Preconstruction Manager in New York. You will collaborate closely with leadership, site development and delivery teams to manage projects from site diligence to design kick off through break ground on site and GMP execution.

The role requires experience with procurement, budgets, scheduling, constructability, and negotiation of large-scale mission critical projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale preconstruction activities
• Strong understanding of procurement, budgets, and scheduling
• Ability to negotiate and analyze construction contracts

Responsibilities

• Execute successful preconstruction for large commercial projects from site diligence through construction start
• Coordinate inputs from multiple teams and manage risk, budget, and schedule
• Lead bid analysis and selection to ensure complete scope and accurate pricing
• Interface with engineering to develop scope criteria, budgets, and schedules
• Support procurement strategy, vendor selection, and contract models for new programs
• Develop new processes and tooling to support initiatives
