Meta is seeking a construction professional to join the design, engineering, and construction organization as a Preconstruction Manager. You will collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to manage projects from site diligence to design kick-off through break ground and GMP execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent and minimum 15 years direct professional experience in Commercial/Construction Management.
• Demonstrated communication and coordination skills to lead a team toward a single project outcome.
• Familiar with large capital programs, ground-up construction, and retrofit construction.
• Proficiency in Preconstruction: Site Development, Diligence Review, Budget Development, Scheduling, Change Management, Risk Management, Negotiation.
• Experience with construction schedules, costs, supply chain analysis, risk analysis, labor markets, and commercial contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale commercial agreements with external partners from site diligence through construction start and GMP execution.
• Lead program management alignment across multiple preconstruction projects including cost, schedule, and risk analysis.
• Report project status, risk, budget, and schedule guidance and present to leadership.
• Provide scoping and bid evaluation to ensure complete scope and accurate pricing and advise on bidder selection.
• Interface with Design and Engineering to develop scope criteria, budgets, and schedules for new products and projects.
• Support build strategy with site diligence, supply chain analysis, vendor selection, and procurement models.
• Lead development of new processes/tools to support initiatives and improve workflows.
• Provide constructability input and influence implementation plans to account for cost and schedule considerations.
• Maintain industry connections and build a database of prequalified external partners.
