Job summary

Milender White is a leading General Contractor seeking a seasoned Preconstruction Manager to oversee estimating, budgeting, and scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure profitable project delivery.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, 10+ years in preconstruction, and strong leadership and communication skills. Competitive compensation and employee-owned culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in preconstruction, construction, and/or a related industry.
• 3+ years of experience including quantity survey, cost evaluation, presentation, and communication with clientele.
• Familiarity with multiple forms of collaborative project delivery, including design-build methods and hard-bid.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the preconstruction process, including conceptual estimating, budgeting, procurement, risk management and estimating, design, schedule, and health and safety.
• Advise client designers and consultants on cost parameters to meet budgets.
• Collaborate with Owners and Consultants on options for construction, methodology, and materials solutions.
• Develop and maintain the Project Risk & Opportunity Schedule and chair related meetings.
• Contribute to the assembly of proposal documents and project execution plans after award.
• Produce regular pre-construction reports for internal and external use.
