Job summary

The role leads estimating, monitors cost trends, analyzes subcontractor bids, and collaborates on scheduling and constructability reviews in a fast-paced open-shop environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of estimating experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with large commercial/industrial projects from concept to close-out.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Accubid, AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain contact with GC and A/E contacts to facilitate successful preconstruction process.
• Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates.
• Ensure accuracy of estimates and monitor cost trends for potential overruns.
• Participate in design decisions, value engineering, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate staffing with operations and build project teams.
• Support business development with proposals and client relationships.
