Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of commercial project experience, expertise in takeoffs, VE, and strong collaboration with owners, architects, and subcontractors to deliver bids that align with project goals.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial preconstruction or related field.
• Strong ability to develop complete project estimates from concept to bid.
• Proven track record presenting cost information to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent collaboration with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate VE ideas and calculate costs.
• Research specified materials and viable alternatives.
• Review and correct estimates prepared by the team.
• Manage staffing and General Conditions requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of current market and unit pricing.
• Build and manage Subcontractor Bid Lists.
• Proactively call subcontractors to bid.
• Analyze incoming bids and scopes of work.
• Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors.
• Present cost information and estimates to clients.
