Job summary

MCI Talent Group is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Lawrence, KS to lead the preconstruction phase, develop budgets and schedules, and coordinate procurement. This role serves as the single point of accountability from contract execution through GMP development and handoff to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Eng/Arch/Business or related field.
• 7-10 years of estimating/preconstruction experience.
• Ability to lead client-facing budget meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating team to produce accurate cost estimates across design phases.
• Manage project budgets from award to GMP development.
• Coordinate design team activities and constructability reviews.
• Oversee GMP development and owner presentations.
• Ensure readiness for construction mobilization and turnover to Operations.
