Leoforce in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager for Commercial MEP Construction. You will oversee the preconstruction phase across healthcare facilities, hospitals, schools, and multifamily projects, focusing on procurement, cost estimation, and schedule development.

Qualifications

MEP experience and procurement experience are required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction management, preferably in commercial construction.
Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee the preconstruction phase of various commercial projects, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop plans and schedules.
Evaluate risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Manage the procurement process, including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and overseeing delivery.
Provide accurate cost estimates and budget projections.
Coordinate with project managers and teams for a smooth transition to construction phase.
Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
