Job summary

Out of the Woods Construction is seeking a Residential Remodeling Project Developer to guide projects from feasibility to planning, helping translate homeowner ideas into budgeted, construction-ready programs.

You will manage scope development, trade pricing, client communication, and contract preparation, while coordinating with architects, designers, engineers, and subs to ensure deliverables meet budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License is required.
• Experience in residential remodeling, preconstruction, estimating, or project development.
• Ability to read and interpret residential plans, scopes, and specs.
• Strong client-facing communication and organization across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of budgeting, schedules, and construction sequencing for older homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through preconstruction and planning to construction-ready handoff.
• Develop preliminary budgets and timelines; update estimates with design changes.
• Coordinate architects, designers, engineers, vendors, and internal staff.
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts, and price commitments.
• Maintain regular client communications and progress reporting.
