Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead complex estimating efforts across multiple delivery methods including hard bid, design-build, GMP, and IPD.

You will develop estimates from concept to final design, mentor junior estimators, build relationships with architects and owners, and collaborate with virtual design teams to ensure accurate quantities and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field or related construction experience.
• 5–10 years of estimating and/or project management experience.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex estimating assignments and develop estimates from conceptual through final design, including benchmarks and value analysis.
• Lead estimate reviews with project management, design team, and owners.
• Visit jobsites to validate estimate accuracy and understand cost drivers.
• Develop subcontractor and supplier relationships; collaborate with marketing for proposals.
• Collaborate with internal Virtual Design group during estimates to develop quantities, logistics plans and 4D schedules.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced estimators.
• Gather historical data from past and ongoing projects for future estimates.
