Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join our Charlotte office. You will lead complex estimating assignments, develop estimates from concept through design, and manage pricing with subcontractors and internal teams.

You will collaborate with operations, marketing, and field leaders to align schedules, budgets, and project delivery. Ideal candidates will have 3–10 years of estimating or related project management experience, strong communication and writing skills, and

• 3–10 years of estimating and/or related project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and sometimes multiple estimating assignments.
• Develop all levels of estimates from conceptual through final design.
• Understand and execute multiple delivery methods (hard bid, negotiated GMP, Design Build, IPD).
• Collaborate with operations on general requirements including fees, staffing, and schedules.
• Set schedule durations, attend scheduling meetings, and coordinate with Scheduling Department.
• Communicate pricing requirements clearly to subcontractors.
• Determine crew and labor sizing with Field Leadership.
• Utilize estimating software tools (P6, BuildingConnected, BlueBeam, Agtek, Sage Timberline, Assemble).
• Lead estimate reviews with project management, design team, and owners.
