Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating activities for sitework within the Self Perform division in Atlanta, GA. You will manage complex estimates, coordinate with operations, and drive value through design and procurement collaboration.

Responsibilities include developing all levels of estimates, leading reviews with stakeholders, visiting sites for accuracy, and mentoring junior estimators while building strong subcontractor relationships for successful

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field or equivalent construction experience.
3–10 years estimating and/or project management experience.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical writing skills.

Proven experience with technology.

Responsibilities

Perform complex estimating assignments and develop all levels of estimates.
Understand multiple delivery methods including hard bid, GMP, Design Build, and IPD.
Collaborate with operations on fees, staffing, and schedules.
Lead estimate reviews with project management, design team, and owners.
Visit jobsites to validate estimate accuracy and impact.
Develop subcontractor and supplier relationships.
Mentor less experienced estimators.
