Job summary

Acendion Collective is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to guide multifamily preconstruction from feasibility through procurement and handoff. You will coordinate design, engineering, estimating, and procurement to establish cost certainty and constructable scopes.

Expect responsibility for cost metrics, risk identification, and alignment with project objectives, using tools like TradeTapp, BuildingConnected, and AutoCAD to drive accurate estimates and timely buyouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of commercial construction experience including preconstruction, estimating, or quantity takeoff activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead early feasibility through project handoff with cross-functional teams.
• Develop conceptual budgets and cost metrics; identify major cost drivers and risks.
• Coordinate design, engineering, estimating, and procurement to ensure constructability and alignment with objectives.
• Oversee estimation across schematic design to construction documents and lead reviews.
• Develop procurement strategies and manage vendor engagement and buyout.
