Job summary

Acendion Collective is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead multifamily preconstruction from feasibility through handoff. You will drive cost certainty by coordinating design, engineering, estimating, and procurement resources, advancing constructable project scopes and readiness for construction.

You will oversee external design partners and internal teams, direct estimating across phases, and develop procurement and bid strategies that align with project milestones and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in commercial construction, including preconstruction, estimating, or quantity takeoff.

Responsibilities

• Lead early project feasibility by developing conceptual budgets and cost metrics and identifying major cost drivers and risks.
• Coordinate design, engineering, estimating, and procurement to align with project objectives.
• Direct estimating across schematic design to construction documents, overseeing takeoffs and cost modeling.
• Develop procurement strategies, bid packaging, and vendor engagement aligned with budgets and schedules.
• Establish preconstruction standards, workflows, and rate accuracy; collaborate across teams for smooth transition to construction.
