Hoar Construction in Nashville is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to guide projects from concept through design and contractor selection. You’ll work with owners, architects, and engineers to keep budgets on track and schedule on target.

This role leads estimating, value engineering, and design development reviews, while coordinating with project teams and business development to pursue opportunities. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in pre-construction/estimating for large commercial/industrial projects.
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid driver's license required.
• LEED AP preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accuracy and quality of estimates, drawing reviews, specification reviews and other construction documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client/owner, architect/engineer, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain current estimating records and unit prices.
• Collaborate with Project Manager in contractor/subcontractor proposal evaluation.
• Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development and construction estimates; monitor design development for cost overruns; participate in value engineering.
• Assist in preparation of construction schedule for preconstruction purposes.
• Support Business Development and participate in community events and networking.
• Lead design/preconstruction meetings with Owners and design team.
