Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the design/preconstruction phase of multiple projects or a single complex project in Orlando, FL. You will coordinate with the Project Executive and serve as a proxy until on-site commencement.

You will oversee estimating, scheduling, procurement, and design deliverables, guiding GMP development and ensuring alignment with client expectations through thorough preconstruction planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in leading operations, procurement, estimating, scheduling, or similar teams.
• Experience in design phase and preconstruction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate design schedules and constructability reviews.
• Guide GMP development and buyout strategies with project teams.
• Partner with Purchasing, VDC, and safety during design.
