Job summary

Gilbane Building is hiring a Preconstruction Manager to lead the design and preconstruction phase across multiple projects, coordinating with the Project Executive and internal teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

You will drive estimating, scheduling, procurement, and risk mitigation, while mentoring engineers and aligning design deliverables with client expectations and GMP targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
• 5-7 years leading operations, procurement, estimating, scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Experience in design/construction management across multiple project types preferred (CMR, DB, IPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead design/preconstruction phase for multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with the Project Executive and key stakeholders to align schedules and budgets.
• Develop GMP and buyout strategies to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Guide Preconstruction Engineers and ensure KPI health across projects.
