Moss is seeking a Sr. Preconstruction Manager in McKinney, TX. You will lead budgeting and GMP efforts, coordinating with the design-build team to ensure cost-effective delivery from concept through final contract award.

The role requires a strong background in quantity takeoffs, bid analysis, RFIs, and cost-savings opportunities across multiple trades. On-site collaboration with operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum eight years' experience in preconstruction.
• Able to self-manage with little direction.
• Knowledge of price estimation by trade.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple projects meeting estimating responsibilities and deadlines.
• Under supervision, manage a Design Build Project from concept to final contract award.
• Perform quantity survey of materials using On Screen Take Off/Bluebeam.
• Fill in gaps from drawings and design docs for missing info.
• Assemble detailed estimates with takeoff and unit pricing for multiple projects.
• Review drawings for missing information and write RFIs to architects/engineers.
• Develop bid tabs from trade contractors to ensure accurate scope.
• Develop qualifications and assumptions from bid tabs.
• Provide cost savings suggestions by trade.
• Communicate with Operations on site logistics to be incorporated into estimate.
• Provide multiple progressive estimates with cost variance reconciliation.
• Present to Owners & A/E Team; explain variances and propose solutions.
• Focus on risk management regarding qualifications, scope and constructability.
• Review documents and RFIs for completeness and constructability.
