Link Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Estimator / Preconstruction Manager for commercial and industrial projects in Orlando, FL.

This onsite, full‑time role leads bid processes, directs cost estimation, and shapes early project strategies to secure competitive advantages. The position includes mentoring junior staff and collaborating with owners and design teams to drive accurate estimates and successful pursuits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of preconstruction and estimating experience with general contractors.
• Proven track record in pricing, estimating, and coordinating all trades for commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with negotiated, GMP, design‑assist, and hard bid delivery methods.
• Proficiency with industry standard preconstruction software including Bluebeam, OST, Excel, and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete bid process, trade coverage, and cost estimation across project phases from concept to construction documents.
• Price and coordinate all trade divisions for diverse delivery methods including negotiated, GMP, design‑assist, and hard bids.
• Evaluate project logistics and deliver value engineering to optimize profitability and efficiency.
• Drive project pursuits and represent the company during owner and design team presentations.
