Job summary

T&G Constructors in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to lead detailed cost estimates for major commercial and institutional projects. You will ensure cost accuracy, transparency, and alignment with design and client goals.

The role requires strong takeoff and CSI knowledge, proficiency with estimating software, and proven ability to manage pricing databases, develop histories, and collaborate with preconstruction teams to finalize GMPs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proficient in CSI divisions and trade-specific cost evaluation.
• Proficient in takeoff and estimating software systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with negotiated CM and design-assist projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for all scopes.
• Review project docs to prepare constructability reviews, PRFIs, detailed estimates, clarifications, and scopes of work.
• Lead communication with subcontractors for solicitation, scope reviews, and leveling processes.
• Develop cost histories and maintain pricing databases for benchmarking.
• Support VE efforts, alternate pricing, and design-phase budgeting.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction Managers to finalize GMPs.
