Job summary

T&G Constructors, a Florida-based construction management and general contracting firm, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead detailed estimating for major commercial and institutional projects in Orlando. The role focuses on cost accuracy, transparency, and alignment with design and client goals.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, proficiency in CSI divisions, and strong takeoff and software skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proficient in CSI divisions and trade-specific cost evaluation.
• Proficient in takeoff and estimating software systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with negotiated CM and design-assist projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses for all scopes.
• Review project documentation and details to prepare constructability reviews, PRFIs, detailed estimates, clarifications and scopes of work.
• Lead communication with subcontractors for solicitation, scope reviews, and leveling processes.
• Develop cost histories and maintain pricing databases for benchmarking.
• Support VE efforts, alternate pricing, and design-phase budgeting.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction Managers to finalize GMPs.
