Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related degree and/or more than 3 years of experience with high end luxury residential projects
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience within a construction organization
• Experience managing people, including hiring, evaluation and coaching is highly preferred but not required
• Conceptual ability to work with minimum information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical-demonstrates the ability to perform mathematical calculations and possesses proficient data entry skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior leadership (and project team) to prepare accurate bid proposals.
• Assist with final assembly of estimate for presentation to owner.
• Subcontractor solicitation during bidding process. Develop detailed scope sheets for Subcontractor and Self-perform work.
• Estimate self-perform carpentry and track costing during the work including change orders.
• Aid field operations with change order pricing.
• Review documents for value engineering as directed by Project Exec.
• Prepare and price value engineering items as directed by Project Exec.
• Mentor others including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, etc.
