Job summary

Bulley & Andrews, based in Chicago, IL, seeks a Project Manager/Estimating Manager to drive bidding for construction projects, prepare conceptual and hard-dollar estimates, and coordinate with senior leadership. You will review documents, perform take-offs, and support value engineering.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years estimating experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field and/or 3+ years of estimating experience on high end luxury residential projects.
• Experience managing people including hiring, evaluation and coaching is preferred.
• Strong mathematical, data entry and cost-tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate bid proposals in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Assemble estimates for presentation to owners and generate detailed scope sheets.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and manage pre-construction activities.
