Bulley & Andrews in Chicago is seeking a Project Manager/Estimating Manager to lead bid development for luxury residential and commercial projects. You will prepare concept and hard-dollar estimates, coordinate with senior leadership, and review documents for accuracy and constructability.

The role emphasizes mentoring estimators, managing subcontractor bids, and applying value engineering while keeping cost targets and schedules in focus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience within a construction organization.
• Experience managing people, including hiring, evaluation and coaching is highly preferred but not required.
• Conceptual ability to work with minimum information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates mathematical calculation abilities and proficient data entry.
• Strong estimating software skills including Excel, estimating databases, and Onscreen Takeoff.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate bid proposals with senior leadership.
• Assemble estimates for presentation to owners.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and develop detailed scope sheets.
• Estimate self-perform carpentry and track costs, including change orders.
• Assist with change orders pricing and value engineering.
• Review construction documents for value engineering.
• Mentor estimators and project engineers on estimating processes.
• Maintain master subcontractor/vendor lists and solicit additional bidders.
• Ensure smooth handoff of estimate materials and drawings to project management.
