Job summary

Vistra Corporate Services Company in Irving, Texas seeks a Sr. Manager, Preconstruction & Engineering to lead complex utility-scale solar, transmission, and energy storage preconstruction efforts.

You will drive FEL stages, prepare budgets and EPC estimates, coordinate environmental reviews, and partner with construction teams to ensure a smooth handoff to construction, with a focus on cost control and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management in construction, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with pre-construction engineering and renewables projects.
• Strong communication and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FEL scope of work for projects.
• Support EPC procurement with project scope and exhibits.
• Manage preconstruction services from early development through construction start.
• De-risk projects through FEL process by analyzing critical issues.
• Lead procurement for long-lead equipment and coordinate environment surveys.
• Handoff complete preconstruction with design, costs, and schedules to construction.
