Job summary

Wilson in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior PreConstruction Engineer to lead and support preconstruction management on multiple projects. This full-time role focuses on delivering accurate bids, coordinating with internal engineers, clients and subs, and ensuring project goals align with company vision.

Responsibilities include bid packages, estimates, take-offs, BIM coordination, plan reading, subcontractor outreach, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead & assist in the effective preconstruction management of multiple projects, by providing technical and informational support to the project team.
• Act as needed to ensure project goals, objectives, and initiatives are met in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Support bid packages, estimates, take-offs & submittals.
• Serve as key coordination, communication & technical resource across internal engineers, clients, subs, project partners & operations personnel.
• BIM coordination, spec & plan reading & consulting.
• Subcontractor Bid Solicitation and Outreach.
• Assist in preconstruction process for all construction delivery methods.
• Assist in scheduling, logistics, notes, risks & planning.
• Quality control, margin ownership & cost analysis.
• Verticals: Commercial, Civil, Infrastructure, Education, Municipal, Industrial & more.
• Limited travel within the Triangle region within North Carolina
