Job summary

The Beck Group, headquartered in Dallas, seeks a Senior Preconstruction Engineer to lead project estimates from $0M to $5M. You will develop accurate takeoffs, price scopes, and manage estimate documents with DESTINI, BIM360, Procore, and Revit.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in construction preconstruction, a relevant degree, and experience with common estimating software. Leadership and collaboration across teams are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant construction/preconstruction experience.
• Experience with common estimating software is required; DESTINI Profiler/Estimator a plus.
• Willingness to grow technical competencies and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and initial pricing.
• Independently estimate interior, envelope, site, and structure scopes.
• Develop and maintain project documents (estimates, drawings/models).
• Lead bid day processes and organize bid tabulations.
• Interact with subcontractors and vendors professionally.
• Supervise and mentor Preconstruction Engineers and Interns.
• Deliver preconstruction content including estimates and graphics.
