Job summary

Winbro in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a skilled Machine Toolmaker to produce high-precision tools and sub-assemblies, following exact specifications. You will program and operate NC lathes and CNC centers, including 3, 4 and 5-axis machines, and perform grinding and fitting to the highest quality standards.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience in toolmaking or fitting, ideally with an apprenticeship, and possess good reading of manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of toolmaking and fitting experience.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training preferred.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to customer facilities access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sub-assembly & bench fitting of precision tools.
• NC lathe programming and operation; CNC machining on 3, 4 and 5 axis centers.
• Conventional machining including grinding, jig boring, milling and turning to high accuracy standards.
