Daily tasks include fitting, welding, finishing, and inspecting parts against drawings, while collaborating with teammates to keep parts moving.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional welding experience.
• GMAW proficiency from 18ga up to 1/2" mild steel.
• GTAW proficiency from 0.030" up to 1/2" aluminum and stainless.
• Comfort using calipers, tape measure, and QC tools.
• Detail-oriented, punctual, collaborative, and able to take initiative.
• Strong communicator; able to discuss technical requirements with clients.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld sheet metal assemblies using TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW).
• Prep joints, execute welds, and perform finish work to spec.
• Deliver quality parts and verify conformance to drawings through inspection.
• Interpret and work from mechanical blueprints with confidence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow written procedures and verbal directions accurately.
