Zusammenfassung

AHU technology is seeking an experienced Class A Machinist to join our Albuquerque-area team. The ideal candidate will read complex drawings, set up and operate CNC and manual machines, and produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and strict quality standards.

The role requires strong tooling knowledge, meticulous inspection using micrometers and calipers, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Class A Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong CNC machining and setup experience.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills; CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Perform machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Verify programs, tooling, offsets, and setup requirements prior to machining.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet drawing and customer requirements.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow quality procedures, safety requirements, and customer requirements.
• Assist and guide less-experienced machinists when needed.
