Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Inspector III to lead plant QC programs compliant with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT standards. You’ll prepare plants for certification audits, guide corrective actions, and address structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.

You will audit supplier plants, qualify precast suppliers, and mentor Level I & II inspectors across multiple plants and projects, ensuring consistent quality.

Qualifications

• PCI QC Level III certification current with 6+ years in precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Strong knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs for precast/prestressed products.
• Experience preparing plants for PCI certification and hosting audits; credible with plant managers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI and DOT requirements.
• Lead corrective actions and resolve structural acceptance questions with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants for owners/ agencies and qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
