Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Precast Concrete Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production, or perform owner/agency inspections as needed. You verify prestressing operations, review mix designs and strength records, and accept or reject finished products while maintaining QC records.

Qualifications include PCI Level II QC Certification, 2+ years in a certified precast/prestressed plant, knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specs; ACI strength

Qualifications

• PCI Level II QC Certification and knowledge of PCI requirements.
• 2+ years in a certified precast or prestressed plant.
• Familiarity with PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT specifications.

Responsibilities

• Verify prestressing operations and monitor tensioning and detensioning sequences.
• Review mix designs, batch tickets, and strength records.
• Accept or reject finished products per specs and shop drawings.
• Maintain plant QC records for PCI and DOT programs.
• Supervise Level I inspectors and assign daily coverage.
