Job summary

NRI North America in Madison is seeking a Senior Technical Solution Architect to work closely with customers, supporting account executives in pre-sales engagements and shaping solutions and statements of work. You will create architectural designs, lead workshops, manage discovery sessions, and write documentation and bills of materials.

You'll present tailored architectures to enterprise clients and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–9 years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or related consulting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to train and disseminate information across teams.
• Experience designing and presenting complex technical solutions to enterprise clients.
• CCNP/CCIE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural designs, infrastructure/connectivity analysis & design.
• Lead onsite or virtual workshops and discovery sessions.
• Write documentation, bills of materials, project estimates and statements of work.
• Partner with account executives to lead technical discovery and architecture discussions.
• Develop and present tailored solution architectures for business needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and PoCs.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires with detailed content.
• Mentor junior solution architects and share knowledge across the pre-sales team.
• Collaborate with delivery and sales teams for feasibility and post-sale transitions.
• Maintain deep expertise in offerings, competitive positioning, and industry trends.
