Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in Texas, located in Dallas or Houston. You will design complex power and building systems, lead projects and a team of engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines.

Ideal candidates bring a PE, 7+ years in mission critical or high‑performance environments, and experience mentoring staff. The role offers growth within a global engineering practice and the opportunity to work on large-scale data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis.
• 7+ years designing electrical systems for high performing commercial or industrial.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and codes.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality technical deliverables for projects and proposals.
• Lead development of initial electrical system concepts.
• Manage project plans, budgets and client interactions.
• Design complex medium and low voltage electrical systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and owners.
• Perform construction administration and site surveys.
