Job summary

You will coordinate with development, design, and construction teams, manage budgets and schedules, and support permitting and regulatory coordination to ensure smooth project handoff before ground-breaking activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with at least 2 years in solar PV.
• Proven ability to manage pre-construction for renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Illinois solar incentives and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction efforts from concept through contract execution for solar EPC projects.
• Coordinate with development, estimating, design, permitting, procurement, and operations teams.
• Review PV designs for constructability, cost, and schedule implications.
• Develop budgets, estimates, and support value engineering.
• Support entitlement, permitting, and regulatory coordination with AHJs and utilities.
