Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Sr. Practice Manager for the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute (BCVI) to lead complex clinical programs across sites. You will supervise clinical and administrative staff, optimize patient access, and drive performance and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration with senior management and central operations. A strong risk-aware mindset and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years health care experience.
• 2 years management experience.
• Experience working within a clinical environment.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
• MBA or MHA preferred.
• Academic medical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage office front-line staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Schedule staff and allocate resources to maximize patient access and provider productivity.
• Conduct supply purchasing within budget and report monthly productivity to providers.
• Ensure accuracy of data collection and facilitate information flow to Central Office.
• Provide financial analysis to support planning and cash flow management.
