Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Senior Practice Assistant in Orthopedics to support scheduling, registration, and billing with a strong focus on operational excellence. This role offers a hybrid work environment and 40 hours per week to help ensure smooth clinic operations.

You will act as a Super User for scheduling and billing systems, coordinate patient services, and guide fellow staff while collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to deliver high-quality orthopedic care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of office experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication, organization, and ability to handle non-routine inquiries.

Responsabilités

  • Coordinate patient appointments and scheduling, maintain scheduling records, respond to inquiries, and support efficient check-in/check-out processes.
  • Perform advanced administrative and clerical functions supporting clinical service and practice operations.
  • Process patient billing forms, maintain accurate documentation, and scan records into the patient medical record.

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and collaborative Sr. Practice Assistant to join the Department of Orthopedics. In this advanced administrative role, you’ll support efficient practice operations, coordinate patient services, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues across the practice. Working with minimal supervision, you’ll bring a high level of proficiency to scheduling, registration, billing, and complex administrative functions while providing functional guidance to other Practice Assistants and supporting the daily activities of practice staff.
