Job summary

TCH Medical Center is seeking a Practice Administrator III for the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine service line. You will plan, organize, staff, and direct activities in collaboration with physician leaders, focusing on performance improvement, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to advance patient care and research efforts.

The role requires strong communication and relationship-building to guide staff and coordinate with hospital leaders across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field required.
• 5 years healthcare operations experience and 3 years supervisory experience, or 3 years ACHE Postgraduate Administrative Fellowship and 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Quality care: Coordinate service delivery to improve patient access, satisfaction, and outcomes.
• Revenue monitoring: Budget and report on professional and technical revenue; plan actions for financial issues.
• Expense monitoring: Manage budget-sensitive service model and staffing; coordinate with OR/ICU/HR.
• Coordinate resources across three-part mission and partner with leaders to raise and resolve issues.
• Service support: Support new program development, faculty recruitment, credentialing, and faculty development.
• Human Resources management: Provide staff feedback and handle performance issues per policy.
• System-wide involvement: Participate in hospital system and academic projects.
