Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks an experienced PRA Engineer to advance risk-informed analyses for nuclear projects. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop and apply PRA methods, perform calculations, and visit sites as needed.

The role requires 5+ years in PRA within the nuclear sector, familiarity with ASME/ANS standards, and strong technical writing and communication skills. Some travel and client-facing duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline; PE license and advanced degree(s) beneficial.
• At least 5 years of PRA experience in the nuclear industry.
• Experience with PRA tasks including initiating events analysis, accident sequence analysis, success criteria, systems analysis, human reliability analysis, data analysis, quantification, LERF analysis, and External Events (e.g. Seismic PRA, High Winds PRA).
• Experience using PRA models for risk assessments to support license amendment requests and risk-informed applications (SFCP, RICT, 50.69, MSPI, SDP).
• Experience developing/updating PRA models for LWR and non-LWR nuclear plants.
• Familiarity with ASME/ANS PRA standards and NRC guides RG 1.200 and RG 1.174.
• Strong communication and writing; travel ~10% as needed.
• Principal Engineers with 10+ years may qualify for top salary range.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop risk-informed approaches for evolving challenges.
• Prepare engineering calculations and analyses; perform site visits and walkdowns.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and regulatory guides; ensure tasks stay within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities for PRA and risk-informed projects.
• Support training and industry engagement activities (PRA workshops, industry meetings).
• Produce high-quality deliverables aligned with QA programs and client expectations.
