Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks an experienced PRA Engineer to contribute to risk-informed initiatives in the nuclear sector. You will apply ASME/ANS PRA standards, perform detailed analyses, and support project execution from concept to completion while collaborating with clients and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes technical depth, industry engagement, and delivering high-quality, compliant engineering products. Some travel (~10%) may be required as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• PE license and advanced degree(s) are beneficial.
• At least 5 years of PRA experience in the nuclear industry.
• Experience with PRA models for risk assessments and regulatory applications (e.g., SFCP, RICT).
• Experience with LWR and non-LWR PRA models.
• Familiarity with ASME/ANS PRA standards and NRC guides (RG 1.200, RG 1.174).
• Strong communication and technical writing skills; travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Industry Standards Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of ASME/ANS PRA Standards, NRC Guides, and related guidance.
• Project Execution: Ensure tasks meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Client Relationship Building: Develop strong client relationships and high-quality deliverables.
• Business Development & Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities for PRA and risk-informed projects.
• Training & Industry Engagement: Promote training and industry engagement opportunities.
• Quality Assurance & Deliverables: Produce high-quality engineering deliverables in line with QA programs.
