Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks an experienced PRA Engineer to join the PRA and Risk-Informed Engineering Group. You will apply industry standards, perform detailed analyses, and support project execution from concept to completion for nuclear projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and engineering teams, participation in industry forums, and delivering high-quality, compliant, safety-focused solutions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
PE license and advanced degree(s) are beneficial
At least 3 years of PRA experience in the nuclear industry.
Experience should include PRA models for risk assessments to support license amendments and risk-informed applications such as SFCP, RICT, 10 CFR 50.69, MSPI, SDP.
Experience with EPRI Risk & Reliability (R&R) software and codes such as Phoenix Risk Architect suite (CAFTA, PRAQuant, UNCERT, SysImp, FRANX), FTREX, and HRA calculator
Familiarity with ASME/ANS PRA standards and NRC regulatory guides RG 1.200 and RG 1.174
Willingness to travel approximately 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate with diverse engineering teams to ensure project success.
Develop risk-informed approaches to address evolving challenges and regulatory requirements.
Prepare engineering calculations and analyses.
Perform site visits and walkdowns as needed.
Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and guidance documents (ASME/ANS PRA, NRC).
Identify and promote opportunities for PRA and related risk-informed projects.
Produce high-quality engineering deliverables in accordance with ENERCON QA programs.
