Job summary

Floowi is seeking a senior, hands-on PR Specialist to independently manage 4-6 client accounts and own earned media execution from research through placement. You will identify journalists, develop tailored angles, write personalized pitches, and secure coverage while managing senior client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years in agency PR or in-house roles, with proven placements across sectors and strong English writing skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on PR or corporate communications experience, with direct journalist pitching and earned media results.
• Experience delivering placements across multiple sectors and explaining strategy, targeting, and execution.
• Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise tech, healthcare, public policy, education, culture, nonprofits, or energy/ renewables is a plus.
• Excellent American English writing skills for pitches, bylines, op-eds, and client communications.
• Proficient with PR tools for media monitoring, lists, and reporting, and comfortable using AI in research and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own media relations end-to-end across 4-6 client accounts, including research, targeting, pitching, follow-ups, placements, writing, tracking, and client communication.
• Research unfamiliar sectors quickly, surface reporters and editors, build media lists, monitor news cycles, and surface timely angles.
• Write personalized pitches, bylines, op-eds, thought leadership content tailored to publications and audiences.
• Coordinate pitches, follow-ups, briefings, interviews, embargoes, and supporting materials.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships with weekly updates, monthly coverage reporting, and proactive recommendations.
• Maintain account trackers and surface new media angles, formats, and opportunities.
