Job summary

Wireside-Communications is seeking a Senior Account Executive to help manage day-to-day client accounts, execute tactics, and produce deliverables. You will own client relationships, coach junior team members, and drive media coverage for high-tech clients.

The role involves mentoring, contributing to agency marketing efforts, and expanding skills while aligning with client goals. This is a hybrid position with Boston or Richmond offices and three remote days per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Public Relations, Marketing, Communications experience, or related industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or related area of study.
• Superb organizational, project and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and team members.
• Passion for creating excellent high-quality deliverables.
• Strong spirit of collaboration, highly self-motivated and results-driven with a can-do attitude.
• 1+ years mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Media Relations: Grow and solidify relationships with business, technology, broadcast and influencer media and analysts to identify and work with reporters and influencers to secure coverage for clients.
• Content Creation: Develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, briefing sheets, speaking abstracts, etc.
• Client Knowledge: Understand the high-tech industry and clients’ business to translate into solid PR counsel and results.
• Client Relations: Provide quality counsel, manage meetings, ensure client-ready materials and presentations.
• Account Management: Support programs from kickoff through goal achievement; manage client calls and meetings with minimal supervision.
• Agency Operations: Contribute to agency marketing efforts, assist with new business decks, participate in hiring decisions and coach junior members.
• Travel may be required.
