Job summary

Tekmetric is seeking a Sr. Public Relations Manager to shape external communications for a leading auto repair software platform. You’ll own the thought leadership program, manage high-value media partnerships, and translate product milestones into industry-shaping narratives.

You will collaborate with our CEO, lead an editor-ready content engine, and drive earned media across traditional and AI-driven channels. This is a high-visibility role with significant cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 8+ years in public relations, communications, or related field.
• Proven track record of building and executing earned media strategies with measurable results.
• Deep experience in executive communications, thought leadership, or executive visibility programs.
• Strong media relationships with a history of securing high-quality placements.
• Experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology communications.
• Understanding of how GEO and AI search reshape PR strategy.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills.
• High executive presence and interpersonal polish.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead without a roadmap.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and executives.
• Experience managing media sponsorships, event media partnerships, or conference PR.
